Description

Length Reduction: Reduce the length of your buffer tube by over 5". The 2.55" MCS Buffer Tube is the shortest for the AR-15 & AR-9 platform.

RIFLE CALIBER SYSTEM WEIGHTS- WITHOUT BCG= 7.4oz. DFA BOLT CARRIER GROUP W/ CYCLE SYSTEM= 17oz.9MM SYSTEM WEIGHTS- WITHOUT BCG= 8.1oz. DFA BOLT CARRIER GROUP W/ CYCLE SYSTEM= 19oz.

Compatible with most Rifle Caliber AR-15 pistols and rifles in calibers of: .223, .223Wylde, 5.56, 300 BO, 7.62×39, 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel, .458 SOCOM, 50 Beowulf. 

Compatible with Most 9mm AR-15 pistols and rifles.

Dead Foot Arms MCS AR-Pistol Kit is our complete short tube conversion kit. It includes: Buffer Tube and End Cap Assembly, MCS Bolt Carrier Group with black nitride finish, end plate with QD port, plunger, spring cap and recoil/plunger springs. (Rubber Bumper for 9mm)

NOTE- This product does not include the the folding stock adaptor. However, the user can later add the MCS folding adaptor to this system by ordering our Pistol Kit to MCS Folder conversion kit.

    1st AR pistol build

    1st AR pistol build.

    After finding out what I could about DFA's 2.5" MCS via the www, I contacted them with questions.

    Ted replied within the same day, and answered all my questions.

    Now knowing the system is completely compatible with my parts and build plans, I decided to purchase the MCS.

    I was impressed with the fast response to my questions so I wanted to make my purchase through DFA.

    I contacted Ted a few more times and he got back with me right away, every time. He helped me out a lot.

    It was delivered when expected and securely packaged.

    Quality looks great and I am very happy with the purchase.

    I still need to purchase more components to complete the build. I'm on a tight budget, so the needed components come when the money does.

    So only in the future can I give a performance opinion.

    Future 2nd Pistol Build will also have the 2.5" MCS, if all goes well and the finances are available.

    My experience

    I have in total of four of these on my AR pistol builds each one of them run amazingly with the binary trigger. Of course it took time to figure it out because I have them on a 5 inch A.R., pistol build with binary triggers it took me time, figuring out which springs work best but for me, it was the 9 mm springs rather it was on my 556 5inch on my 300 blackout or 762 only time I did not use the 9 mm springs was for the 50 Beowulf oddly enough, the blues work perfect the blacks were too strong for the 50 Beowulf cartridge because it is designed to go off of a standard buffer weight I’ve only ever had a problem with any of my builds once and the customer service help me sort it out the same day with unmatched experience and customer service. These products are better than any other out there for sure, and the stuff you can add onto them like the under folder and stocks makes them even better 100% satisfied customer here.

    Conceal Carry AR

    This little setup significantly reduces both the overall length and weight of your AR. And, if you ever happened to want to conceal carry, there is nothing to snag on fabrics, belts, bags. Slick, simple, and surprisingly very easy to shoot with as well.

    Kit includes nicely finished, quality parts. Installation is a breeze. Customer support has always been prompt, polite and very helpful.

    If you are looking for options to avoid the ATF rules change on braces, and want to convert your AR into something incredibly portable, stowable, easy to conceal while retaining function and reliability, this is the right choice.

    What are you waiting for? If you're looking, then you already know you just need to get off the fence and buy it.

    Flawless

    First off let me say this. They literally created my shipping label on Christmas and it was here before New Year’s Eve.The dedication from this company is already immaculate as all my other products from companies that aren’t local are stuck in a holiday purgatory . This product looks amazing on my truck gun and I can’t wait to shoot it. My only complaint about this company is in my office I have a wall of stickers from each company I do business with I love y’all’s logo and was really excited to add it to my collection, but maybe y’all will put some for sale or something. Nonetheless awesome company quality you can see and feel and just look online I haven’t seen a negative comment anywhere what are you waiting for.

    Flawless

    I've built about a half dozen and they are excellent! Aesthetics are on point very compact. Turn around time was much shorter than expected. Communication was also handled in a timely manner, job well done folks!
