Brace Upgrade
Originally left out the brace on my order but with the pistol brace rule being defeated, I finally got this brace upgrade. Brace is nice, sturdy, and looks great. Definitely recommend it.
The SCW Tailhook or Stock Upgrade Kit is specifically made for previous Dead Foot Arms customers who already own the MCS AR-Pistol Kit (2.5 or 4"), MCS Folding Stock Adaptor or SCW GEN 1 and want to transition their current product to the SCW 2.5 or SCW 4 GEN 2 Tailhook. The SCW Upgrade Kit retrofits directly to the MCS AR Pistol kit (MCS Short Buffer Tube). Simple installation, 6 adjustable length settings, ATF Approved design, designed and manufactured in the USA.
FoldAR SCW Short Bar Option - shortened SCW bars that will not interfere with the FoldAR Upper when folded and the bars are completely collapsed. The FoldAR SCW Short Bars allow for button free deployment and 4 length of pull settings. At full extension, LOP reaches 10 inches. You will also need to purchase a FOLDAR set screw and magnet.

I bought one of these stocks along with the short buffer tube, spring and weight to finish up a 9mm carbine I built. I was really pleasantly surprised at how reliable this buffer system and stock are. This was so well built, reliable and awesome looking on my carbine I ended up buying a second one to put on my 300 blackout SBR. This is the best minimal carbine stock/brace bar none.

The quality of this item is absolutely top notch. It's low profile and sleek design keeps my backpack gun backpack status. I fish and hike a lot and it is essential when in public to keep my fire arm concealed but easy enough to get to for threats from wildlife. I would suggest lubing wear points, as it is stiff and unlubricated when shipped. It is sturdy enough that I would trust it enough to wack a threat with it and it still be fully functional. The mechanism to extend the brace, to make it sturdy on your wrist, does take some practice to get it down to one smooth action. That being said after just a day or two I didn't find it clumsy and with how short my rifle is
even in it's collapsed position it was still fully functional.
This product is great fits the forearm like a glove and truly enjoy the versatility and function, I had no trouble with installing or with operation. A lil on the expensive side but "YOU get what ya pay for"
Highly recommend this upgrade for your weapon system, its flawless in its operation and its its beautifully crafted. Big thumbs up to Dead Foot Arms folks for bringing us this awesome upgrade..
